Why SimpleHaven exists

It shouldn't be this hard to see your own home.

SimpleHaven started with a simple wish: a living picture of my own home that I could actually use. Every existing path was wrong. Blueprint apps wanted me to measure and trace every wall by hand. Render services wanted me to upload my house to their servers and wait for strangers to model it. All I wanted was to point my phone at my rooms.

So that became the rule this whole app is built on: one walk-through, everything on your device, nothing shared with anyone. Simplicity isn't a feature here. It's the whole point.

Walk a room, it builds itself

Point a LiDAR iPhone or iPad around the room and it takes shape as you go, down to the walls, doorways, and windows. Nothing to measure, nothing to trace.

Real furniture, not raw scan mesh

Your sofas, beds, tables, and appliances are matched to real 3D models and set where they actually sit. That match is what makes it look like your house.

Tap a light, hold for the dimmer

Link Apple Home, then put your lights and ceiling fans where they really are. Tap to toggle, hold for brightness and fan speed. Fans spin when they're on.

Control it from the couch

You're tapping your saved home, not a live camera view. No holding your phone up at the ceiling, and it reads just as well with the lights off.

You don't need Apple Home

No smart devices yet? You still get the 3D twin, the furniture matching, all of it. Apple Home just adds the live lights and fans on top.

A crash won't lose your scan

Every room you finish is saved the moment you're done with it. If the app quits mid-scan, it offers to pick up from where you stopped.

Link your Apple Home, answer a quick question or two per room, and your lights and ceiling fans take their places in the twin — tap to toggle, hold for dimmers and speeds. Fans actually spin when they're on. More device types are on the roadmap.

Stand your iPad on the counter or mount it on the wall, and your whole home reads in one look — what's on, what's lit, what's spinning. A dashboard that looks like your house, not a grid of tiles. And Apple TV is on the roadmap, for the biggest screen in the house.

Pick disc or glyph bubbles and set their size. Show or hide room and device names. Flip to a dark background for the counter at night. Customization options keep growing — this pane is just the start.

SimpleHaven isn't here to replace Apple Home — it's the beautiful face of it. Rename a device or move it to another room in Apple Home, and SimpleHaven picks up the change automatically. Your scenes, automations, and setup keep living right where they already are. One source of truth, one gorgeous way to see it.
